A morning of family fun and fitness was the highlight of the inaugural Ski Beach Dash & Splash 5K hosted March 26 at the Venetian Center. Proceeds from the benefit event will go to the new UF Health Leesburg Hospital Simulation (SIM) Center. Nursing students entering professional practice often find it challenging to transfer their classroom learning into daily clinical practices. The new UF Health Leesburg Hospital SIM Center will provide students with interactive, practice-based instruction and offer nurse educators the opportunity to meet each student’s individual educational needs.
