The Educational Foundation of Lake County hosted the 16th Annual Stepping Out for Education event, a local version of Dancing with the Stars. Local “celebrities” Jimmy Adams, Jaime Bach, David Helton, Lori Myers, Shaunna Purdy, and Tyrell Rachel were partnered with professional dancers to perform various ballroom dances at the foundation’s signature event. The gala, held at Mission Inn Resort & Club, raised $45,000 for Lake County Schools Career and Technical Education programs, an amount the state will match.
