Sonny’s BBQ Closes In The Villages
Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q has closed its doors for good in The Villages. The popular restaurant had been around in The Villages for at least a decade. The Restaurant, which is located at 1128 Canal Street in Lake Sumter Landing, was a popular spot for snowbirds and offered a very nice outdoor bar area as well.
A sign on the door says “We never like to see our locations close, our promise to offer the best BBQ slathered in southern hospitality hasn’t changed. We would love to welcome you to one of our nearby restaurants in Busnell, Inverness and Belleview.”
This is a developing story. We reached out to Sonny’s BBQ but they did not immediately respond.
