South Sumter High School’s Grant Polk Commits To Carolina University
Bushnell, FL – South Sumter High School senior Grant Polk has announced his commitment to Carolina University, where he will continue his academic and baseball career. The standout pitcher has been a key contributor to the Raiders’ success on the diamond, especially last season where he showcased his impressive skills and a strong work ethic that have earned him this exciting opportunity.
Polk’s junior season was nothing short of spectacular. The right-hander made 10 appearances on the mound, finishing the season with a stellar 1.59 ERA. In 22 innings pitched, he surrendered only 5 earned runs while striking out 21 of the 105 batters he faced.
“I am Blessed to say that I will be committing to Carolina University to continue my baseball career.” said Grant Polk in a statement on X.
Congratulations to Grant Polk. We wish him the best in his senior season and look forward to seeing him perform at the next level.
