Evan James is one of the best athletes that Lake County has to offer. He is a football star but is also having a great season on the basketball court. James has offers from West Virginia and Pittsburgh to play football.

James caught 33 passes this season on the football field for a total of 650 yards. He had 10 total offensive touchdowns and averaged nearly 20 yards per catch. He and quarterback Salomon Georges have amazing chemistry, and it showed this season.

Meanwhile on the basketball court James is a hustler. He is quick, athletic and makes some amazing plays offensively and defensively. He can dunk, shoot three pointers, passes the ball effectively and his hudl footage shows what an athlete this kid is.

No matter if it’s on the football field or basketball court, James is just a true athlete who will be entering his senior year in the fall of 2024. While he is uncommitted at this time we look forward to seeing his progress over the spring and summer months.

Leesburg High School could also make a run at a possible State Championship this season with the team that they have.
