Style Magazine to Host Pet Adoption Event at Whimsy Market’s Fall Festival

After dedicating our July issue to pet adoption, we at Style Magazine decided it was time to put our words into action. On Saturday, October 11, we’re teaming up with Whimsy Market, Sunsational Farms and several local animal shelters to host a special Pet Adoption Event during the 5th Annual Whimsy Market Fall Festival in Umatilla.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sunsational Farms, located at 40541 Roger Giles Road, and will bring together families, local vendors and animal lovers for a day of festivities and furry friends in search of forever homes.
Five animal rescue organizations will be on-site with adoptable pets, including A Forever Home Animal Rescue, the Lake County Animal Shelter, the Humane Society of Lake County, Hoffmeyer Animal Rescue and the Humane Society of Sumter County. Visitors will have the chance to meet cats and dogs ready for adoption, talk with shelter volunteers and learn more about how they can help support local rescue efforts.
The fall-themed festival will also feature small business vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, a pumpkin patch, and more—all with free admission and parking. Families can enjoy a day of autumn fun while supporting a great cause.
To make the day even sweeter, every family who adopts a pet during the event will receive raffle tickets for a chance to win Style Magazine’s exclusive giveaway basket, complete with pet items and a complimentary photo shoot valued at $350. Whimsy Market will also host its own free scavenger hunt, giving attendees more opportunities to win prizes.
Be sure to stop by, say hello and meet these adorable pets hoping to find their new homes.
