Suleiman Family Acquires Palmer Legends Country Club Restaurant in The Villages
The Villages, Fla. — The Palmer Legends Country Club Restaurant, an iconic dining establishment in The Villages, has been purchased by the Suleiman family, known for their growing portfolio of local dining and hospitality ventures. This acquisition adds to their ownership of other popular venues in The Villages, including Havana Country Club, Prima, Nancy Lopez Legacy Country Club, Glenview Country Club, Red Sauce, Mallory Hill Country Club, and Angler’s Club.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Palmer Legends Restaurant at The Arnold Palmer Country Club is now part of the Suleiman Family Restaurants. With decades of experience in fine dining, we are honored to continue its legacy while elevating your dining experience.” said the Suliman’s.
The Suleiman’s take over from The Strausbaugh Family who has owned the restaurant for 20 years. The family said in a statement “After two incredible decades of serving our community, we’ve made the difficult decision to sell Palmer Legends Country Club. It has been an absolute honor to welcome so many of you through our doors, celebrate countless memories, and be a part of this vibrant community.”
(Arnold Palmer Country Club Restaurant has been a Villages favorite for over two decades.)
The Stausbaugh’s went on to say “To our incredible staff: Thank you for your dedication, passion, and hard work. You’ve not only been colleagues, but also family. We couldn’t have made it this far without you. As we close this chapter, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead for our family. We will forever treasure the memories we’ve made and the people we’ve met along the way. Thank you for being part of this amazing journey!”
Regarding the future of the restuarant, The Suleiman’s said in a statement “We are excited to announce Palmer Legends Country Club will be undergoing a full remodel to bring a fresh, updated look and feel to the space. Our goal is to elevate the overall dining experience while maintaining the charm and warmth you’ve come to love. Stay tuned for more updates as we transform the restaurant into something special!”

More updates include an A+ Cleanliness and Food Safty Standard, new dinner menu featuring prime steaks, fresh seafood and craft cocktails. A brand new lunch menu is planned that includes featuring fresh salads, prime burgers, and soup/salad/sandwich pairings. There will also be a new weekend brunch menu featuring elevated breakfast & lunch cuisine, mimosas, craft bloody marys and much more.

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
