Scott’s Roofing celebrated its 50th anniversary on September 22 at its Tavares location, 15049 Old Highway 441. The event featured giveaways, information, music, refreshments and food from The Salted Fry and Claire’s Creperie. Scott’s Roofing, a second-generation family business, has served Lake and other Central Florida counties since 1973, when Bob Scott first opened it. Scott’s has been under the ownership of Bob’s son Tommy Scott since 1989.
