Late-night cravings just got easier to satisfy. Amanda Walsh, owner of Cheeser’s Palace, one of downtown Clermont’s favorite breakfast-brunch inspired restaurants, recently unveiled Cheeser’s Express, a 24/7 refrigerated automat-style vending machine stocked with some of the café’s most popular offerings. The refrigerated, cashless machine includes cake slices, tomato basil soup, Baron dip, charcuterie boxes, drinks and more. Located outside the restaurant at 707 W Montrose St., the Cheeser’s Express machine allows customers to pick up their favorite treats long after the main dining room’s 2pm closing time.

Recently widowed George wasn’t planning to adopt a dog. Then he met Choppa, an overlooked rescue recovering from health issues and the loss of his longtime canine companion. The connection between George and Choppa was immediate, and today the pair are inseparable, creating one more happy ending for A Forever Home, a Eustis nonprofit, which helps hundreds of dogs find forever homes each year.
