Just outside The Villages and other retirement communities, including Stonecrest and Spruce Creek, will be a new Wingstop location at SE 109th Avenue.

The new restaurant brings Wingstop’s signature lineup of cooked-to-order wings, tenders, and seasoned fries to the heart of Summerfield. With more than 11 distinct flavors including fan favorites like Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, and Louisiana Rub the new location offers carryout, and delivery options to satisfy every wing craving.

“From our hand-cut fries to our Cajun Fried Corn and Buffalo Ranch Fries, we’re all about putting flavor first,” the company said in a statement online.

Founded in 1994, Wingstop began franchising in 1997 and has since become one of the fastest-growing restaurant concepts in the U.S. The company credits its success to a focus on proprietary recipes, a strong guest experience, and a dedicated network of franchise operators.

The new location is currently under construction and much work needs to be complete on the interior. No opening date has been announced as of yet.

(Wing Stop will be located next to K-Rae’s Salon.)
