UMATILLA, Fla. — Umatilla High School is celebrating a significant academic milestone as 31 students have earned their AICE Diplomas, a prestigious accomplishment that qualifies them for 100% Bright Futures Scholarships, valued at $25,500 over four years.

Umatilla High School, with an enrollment of 900 students, is proud to announce the impressive achievements of its students in the Cambridge AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) and AP (Advanced Placement) programs for the 2023-2024 school year. Cambridge and AP classes are open access, providing opportunity for all students who are willing to put forth effort towards a more rigorous curriculum and the possibility of college credits. We hold to the ideal that if you can Dream It, and Believe It, then you can Achieve It!  The overall pass rate for Cambridge spring exams was 58%, with 465 exams passed by students. In the AP program, the overall pass rate was 46%, with students successfully passing 46 exams. These remarkable accomplishments have led to significant academic and financial benefits for the students and their families.
