3rd Annual ‘It Takes a Village’ Toy & Bike Giveaway in Leesburg Spreads Holiday Cheer
The holiday season is known for spreading joy, and in Leesburg, the tradition continues with the 3rd Annual “It Takes a Village” Toy & Bike Giveaway at Berry Park. Presented by AllBrilliantMinds E&E, this heartwarming event is set to take place Dec. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m., bringing smiles to the faces of local children and their families.
A dedicated team of small business owners and community leaders, including Deonte Harris, Roy Figueroa, Linda Rivera, Jon Christian, Joshua Christian, Joshua Garcia, and Keno Rice, along with their friends and family, have been the driving force behind this event for three consecutive years.
“As we like to do around this time of year, we’re going to give early Christmas gifts to as many kids as possible in our area,” Deonte says. “All of the children of Leesburg and surround areas are welcome. There is no specific criteria to attend.”
The event’s primary goal is to brighten the holiday season for as many children in the area as possible. To achieve this, there will be a generous amount of gifts and toys suitable for children of all ages. In addition, electronics and sports equipment for the upcoming 2024 sports season will be provided.
The festivities won’t stop at gifts alone. Families attending the event can look forward to delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a festive atmosphere filled with music and entertainment.
Every child attending the event will receive a raffle ticket upon arrival. The highlight of the event will be the raffle draw, where the lucky winners will receive brand new bikes. Prior to the raffle, all attendees will have the opportunity to choose a gift from the tables and enjoy some delectable treats.
The group is committed to ensuring that every child aged 17 and under leaves with an early Christmas gift, while brand new bikes will be reserved exclusively for the raffle winners.
This heartwarming event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Harris C&R Cleanings LLC, Top of the Lawn Landscaping, DJ Shakeback Ent, Lin Nailz LLC, AllBrilliantMinds Lifestyle, Chef B, and Bricks Studio have all rallied behind this noble cause as sponsors. The event has also received donations from other community leaders and Good Samaritans of Lake County.
If you’d like to contribute to this event, donations will be accepted until the week of the event. Sponsors interested in supporting this cause have until November 26th to make their donations.
