The 4th Annual “It Takes a Village” Toy & Bike Giveaway, hosted by AllBrilliantMinds E&E, brought smiles and excitement to the Leesburg community last week with a festive block party on Pine Street near downtown Leesburg. The event featured food, games, toys, bikes, and more for local children and their families.

The event blessed about 80 kids with toys and bikes at their new location on Pine Street. This year’s giveaway included the Five9 Gaming trailer that was a hit with the children. A special highlight was the involvement of the Ruff Ryders Bike Club, a popular group that brought chapters from all over Florida to sponsor the event.

“The kids got to take pics on the bikes [motorcycles] and play in the gaming trailer,” organizer Deonte Harris says. “We also provided food and drinks along with some treats from a local vendor.”

The toy and bike giveaway, now in its fourth year, continues to grow in impact thanks to the generous support of sponsors, small business owners, and community leaders. Sponsors included Harris C&R Cleanings LLC, Top of the Lawn Landscaping, DJ Shakeback Ent, Lin Nailz LLC, Pine Street Lounge, Chef B, Five9 Gaming, Bricks Studio, Kutt the Streets and Tee’s Treats, along with donations from other community leaders of Lake County.

“It’s great that we can all come together as a community to make this holiday season a little brighter for our children,” Deonte says. “The kids really loved it, and that’s what it’s all about.”
