Lake Minneola High Welcomes New Assistant Principal Ms. Kim Walker Lawrence

Lake Minneola High School introduced Ms. Kim Walker Lawrence as their new Assistant Principal. Ms. Walker Lawrence brings a wealth of passion that she will no dobut bring to the Lake Minneola High campus.

In a statement made by the school on social media they stated “Ms. Walker Lawrence is a proud product of Lake County Schools, and her journey in education has been both inspiring and impactful. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Her educational background, coupled with her diverse experiences, has prepared her well to serve in her new role.”

The school went on to say “Throughout her career, Ms. Walker Lawrence has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to student success and well-being. Her educational philosophy centers on the belief that all students can thrive in a positive learning environment supported by strong leadership, dedicated educators, and an engaged community. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every student at Lake Minneola High School receives the support and resources they need to excel academically and personally.”

We are excited for Ms. Kim Walker Lawrence and we look forward to the impact that she is going to have on the program going forward. Congratulations!

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.

For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.

Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
