Halloween Boo Fest Trunk or Treat Event Returns to Tavares

The City of Tavares will celebrate Halloween with its Annual BOO! Festival on Friday Oct. 24, bringing a night of family-friendly fun to downtown Tavares.
The event will feature a massive Trunk or Treat loaded with free candy, live DJ music, food vendors, and plenty of spooky entertainment for all ages. Kids can explore the YMCA’s Creepy Tent, while attendees enjoy carnival games, performances, and themed activities throughout the evening.
Highlights of the night include a costume contest at 7 p.m. in Tavares Square, and a double feature of family Halloween favorites — Toy Story of Terror and Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space — starting at 6:30 p.m. in Wooton Park.
Other attractions include a performance by the Soar Athletics Team in Wooton Park and a Tavares Police Department Charity Dunk Tank on Main Street.
The BOO! Festival promises a lively evening of community spirit, creativity, and seasonal fun for families across Lake County.
