A Forever Home Animal Rescue Hosts Grand Opening Of New Location

It was a terrific day at the new home of the A Forever Home Animal Rescue, which hosted a grand opening yesterday afternoon. Last year, the shelter found out that their lease on their old location would not be renewed and had to relocate or close.

Luckily, A Forever Home Animal Shelter secured a new location in Eustis. It’s located at 1400 South Bay Street in Eustis.

This is the culmination of a ton of work that has gone into this project. A Forever Animal Shelter had to raise money for this to happen, but seeing the actual home open up brought tears to a lot of people’s eyes in attendance.

“It’s a lot smaller and only a small yard, but that’s all we can afford,” shelter owner Lori Mastrantoni said when they were finally able to put a down payment on a property.

The no-kill shelter raised nearly $100,000 through fundraisers, thanks to the generosity of the community.

(The animals have adjusted well to the new rescue home and are now looking that special someone to provide them with a permanent home.)

The fact that A Forever Home Animal Shelter is back to full operation is a blessing to so many of the animals it houses. If you want to get involved, visit http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org or call 407-221-1855.
