Company/Job Title: Stanage Tree Service (STS), VP-Office Manager

Job responsibilities: I oversee all operations and overall presentation, which includes handling the office, personnel, HR, scheduling, marketing, insurance, contracts, and more. 

How I got into my career: My husband Bryan had a dream of starting his own company, so I began helping with odds and ends and quickly discovered I enjoyed working alongside him. We became incorporated in 2011. 

What makes me passionate about my career: The love I have for our business, our team. The ability to create and specialize in an industry that is typically overlooked.

My greatest career accomplishment: Our company was awarded The Villages District Contract in 2021. It was my first contract proposal we put together.

My advice to the younger generation: To be true to who you are; reputation can make or break you. Whatever career you choose, give it your best, be honest and never give up. The success will come.

In my spare time: I enjoy soaking up Florida’s sunshine, on any type of water with my husband, two sons and pups.

Life after 40: I believe I will still be overseeing the operations here at STS, Bryan and I have huge dreams for our company and teams. We will not stop until we achieve them.
