LADY LAKE, Fla. — A new dining destination has arrived in Lady Lake, Florida, as Ay Sonora Mexican Cuisine & Grocery officially opens its doors at 989 US-27/441, filling the space previously occupied by Alfee’s Grill which was a lebanese and mediterranean restaurant which closed earlier this year.

(From early reviews the food seems to be very good. The fajitas look delicious.)

Ay Sonora offers a vibrant mix of traditional Mexican cuisine and grocery items, making it a one-stop shop for locals and visitors. The menu features a variety of fan-favorite Mexican dishes, including lunch fajitas, taco salads, and quesadillas, offering something for every palate. Fresh guacamole and queso dip are also available for a savory start to any meal.

(Rare to our area is a local grocery store inside the front portion of the restaurant. This is a nice little convenient option. )

To celebrate its grand opening, Ay Sonora is offering a special promotion during its first week of business. Guests who visit from Tuesday through Sunday can enjoy a 10% discount on their dishes. The restaurant also hosts a Taco Tuesday special, where customers can enjoy three tacos for just $7.50. For those looking to unwind with a drink, the restaurant serves two-for-one margaritas every Friday.

(Delicious food awaits at Ay Sonora Mexican Cuisine & Grocery. We wish them the best of luck.)

In addition to its restaurant offerings, Ay Sonora features a grocery section at the front of the store, stocked with popular Mexican ingredients and products, providing convenience for customers who want to bring a taste of Mexico home.

Ay Sonora’s combination of delicious food, refreshing beverages, and grocery options is a hidden gem. It’s also really cool to have a local grocery store in this area as there are currently very few options for a local grocery store. Be sure to come out and give this locally owned and operated business a try!
