BRAVE SC secured their fifth district championship in team history with a decisive 3-1 victory over Inter Gainesville KF on Friday night at The Range at The Villages Charter Middle School. Captain Leo Andrade, hadn’t scored all season, delivered two crucial goals that clinched the division title for the Buffalo.

Brave SC (9-1-2) emerged victorious in the Southeast Division, claiming their second consecutive title. Despite having the chance to secure the division two games earlier, head coach Anderson DaSilva expressed his satisfaction with the timing and setting of the victory.

Andrade’s first goal came in the 21st minute from an Alvaro Carrera corner kick. He repeated the feat in the 34th minute, again finding the back of the net from a similar play.

Inter Gainesville KF (3-8-1) managed to score just after the break with a close-range shot from Fritz Paul. However, this was their only goal of the night as Brave SC maintained their lead to secure the win.

The victory brought Brave SC’s regular season record to 9-1-2, matching Nona FC’s record and points total. However, Brave SC earned the division title due to their superior goal differential, which was the best in the league alongside Asheville City SC.

With the division title secured, Brave SC now focuses on the Southern Conference playoffs. They will join a competitive field that includes the undefeated teams such as Little Rock Rangers, AHFC Royals, Asheville City, Nona FC and more.

BRAVE SC will take on Sarasota Paradise in the first round in North Carolina, Friday at 4:00pm aiming to add a USL2 League Championship title to their list of achievements.
