Erica McNamee, a third-generation insurance broker and owner of Olson Insurance in Umatilla, is proud to carry on her family’s legacy. 

“My grandad Terry started Olson Insurance out of his garage in 1975 and he always instilled in us the value of community and to put customer service over and above everything else,” Erica says.

Olson Insurance provides commercial, personal property and casualty insurance, as well as life insurance and insurance for the home, auto, motorcycles, boats, RV’s, mobile homes and golf carts. 

“We provide affordable and reliable insurance to area residents and have a great reputation because we personalize our customer service,” Erica says.

Olson Insurance also offers CPA services and provides tax preparation for businesses and individuals. 

Erica took over Olson Insurance 10 years ago and wakes up every day excited to assist people with policies or get money back on their tax returns. 

“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved helping people,” Erica says. 

She also tries to inspire her nine-year-old daughter Marissa.

“I grew up in a household in which we were encouraged to be self-sufficient and I’m proud to pass that quality along to my daughter.”
