FRUITLAND PARK, FL – A busted water pipe made for an interesting night for youth soccer players and parents at the Fruitland Park soccer fields. According to City of Fruitland Park “One of our away visitors accidentally ran over a water pipe.” The resulting flow of water meant that emergency repairs had to be conducted.

(Fruitland Park Public Works team were observed pumping water and fixing the water leak last evening.)

Luckily the Fruitland Park Public Works team came out and made hasty repairs to the water pipe. A pump machine was working to pump out the excess water so crews could reach the broken pipe. Braving the cold conditions, the crews managed to fix the leak quickly. “As always, you guys are the Rock Stars. We are so grateful to have them!” said a City of Fruitland Park representative.

The Fruitland Park soccer fields have undergone renovations the past few years. The fields have continued to improve year after year. As of this writing there does not appear to be any reports of locals needing to boil water.
