CLERMONT, Fla. — East Ridge High School in Clermont has achieved an impressive 97% graduation rate for the 2023-2024 academic year, surpassing the Lake County Schools district average of 93%. This is a fantastic milestone and continues to highlight the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and student success under the leadership of Principal Julie Robinson-Lueallen.

Principal Robinson-Lueallen, a Lake County native and Tavares High School graduate, has played a pivotal role in fostering an environment where students can thrive. She began her career in education in 1991, teaching business classes in Lake County Schools, and has since held principal positions at Leesburg High School and Eustis High School.

Known for her hands-on approach and dedication to student well-being, Robinson-Lueallen has gone above and beyond to support her students. Whether providing clothing for job interviews or ensuring that no student goes hungry, she has consistently prioritized their needs beyond the classroom.

“Our commitment to providing a comprehensive and enriching educational experience has remained steadfast throughout these years. Our incredible team of educators works diligently to create a dynamic and nurturing environment where students can explore their passions, challenge their thinking, and achieve their fullest potential. Whether in academics, the arts, athletics, or extracurricular activities, our students are offered multiple pathways to grow and excel.” says Principal Robinson-Lueallen.

“We take immense pride in fostering a culture of learning that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Each day, our faculty provides diverse and innovative learning opportunities designed to prepare our students not just for success in the classroom, but for success in life. We are continually inspired by the talent, resilience, and enthusiasm of our students, who bring energy and spirit to every endeavor they undertake,” says Principal Robinson-Lueallen.

Parents and community members have praised the school’s accomplishment, viewing it as a beacon of hope and pride for Clermont. As East Ridge High School continues to raise the bar, its students are not only achieving academic success but also building foundations for lifelong success.

East Ridge High School will continue to strive for even greater achievements. This is a great number and we are very happy about it! Hopefully next year they can get to 98% or higher! Way to go Knights!
