Eustis Holds FireTruckTober First Friday Event
The City of Eustis will hold the FireTruckTober event on Friday, Oct. 4 from 6-9 p.m. in Downtown Eustis.
On the first Friday of each month, the City of Eustis holds a downtown street party, with a different theme being chosen each time. FireTruckTober is October’s First Friday party and has historically been one of Eustis’ most popular First Fridays of the year. At the event, the Eustis Fire Department will give children the chance to try on real bunker gear, meet Eustis Firefighters and witness a fire sprinkler safety demonstration. There will also be a demonstration of how firefighters use the jaws of life to rescue someone from a vehicle.
FireTruckTober also features live music from the Zack Denby band, a variety of food trucks and vendors lining the downtown streets and a bounce house for children to enjoy. Admission to the event is free.
For more information about First Friday, visit eustis.org or contact Eustis Events at (352) 483-5431.
