Eustis Police Department Fund New Uniforms for Eustis Junior Panthers Football Team
EUSTIS, Fla. (AP) — The Eustis Police Department has outfitted the Eustis Junior Panthers Football team with brand-new uniforms, thanks to funds seized from drug cases. The department’s donation is more than just financial support; it’s a clear symbol of their commitment to fostering a positive and safe community.
“We appreciate everything that Eustis Police Deparment does throughout the community,” says Shikita Hill.
The new uniforms were presented to the team recently, with young athletes beaming in their fresh attire, ready to hit the gridiron. The contribution aligns with the department’s ongoing efforts to invest in community programs that provide constructive outlets for youth.
“My heart is in a good place. Thank you Chief Spike Capri for extending your resources and looking out for the youth sin our community. All Junior Panthers football players and cheerleaders are now dressed for the season. We appreciate what you and your department have done for this program. What a beautiful look for the city. Thanks for your leadership Chief.” says Johnnie Saunders.
The Eustis Junior Panthers, who have shown great promise in the past seasons, are now geared up with a renewed sense of pride and motivation, thanks to the support from their local police force.
Seeing all of the young guys and gals in their awesome new uniforms is a testament to the power of community partnership. It is awesome to see Eustis PD investing in the next generation of talent.
Considering the hard news the past month coming out of Eustis and Lake County with the death of Master Deputy Link that is still fresh on everyone’s minds, it’s great to see some positive news especially involving such a great cause. Good luck to the Junior Panthers this upcoming school year!
