Floor & Decor in Summerfield Opening Saturday
Floor & Decor is opening in Summerfield this Saturday at 10 am. The construction of this building has been ongoing for some time, and now we finally have an opening date for this exciting new building in Marion County. Floor & Decor is situated just off Highway 441 and is easily accessible to Villages residents, Spruce Creek, Stonecrest residents, and more.
The first 200 customers will receive FREE Iced Coffee from The Standard and FREE Cookies from Red Jar Cookies.
The company stated: “Come celebrate with us and spend some time with our favorite local businesses while you get to know Floor & Decor. Can’t wait to see you there!”
Floor & Decor bills itself as the leading specialty retailer of hard surface flooring, offering the broadest in-stock selection of tile, wood, stone, related tools, and flooring accessories. While Lowes and Home Depot focus on flooring as well, Floor & Decor specifically focuses on these particular areas. With building booming in the area, this is a major opportunity for the brand to capture many of the new residents moving to our area.
This is a welcomed addition to this area of Florida, which has been starved for a good floor & decor retailer. There are many local options, but as far as big brand retail company options go, they have been limited to Home Depot and Lowes who have both been terrific retail home goods stores in our area. Both of those are reputable companies, but now there is a company that specifically focuses on just Floor & Decor, which should be interesting.
It’s also worth noting that this area lost a decor retailer recently when Bed Bath & Beyond entered bankruptcy and closed last year. Pier 1 Imports also closed a few years back, so this is a very welcomed addition to the area which has been needing a Floor & Decor business like this for a long time.
If you want to check out this new retail company, come on out on Saturday, February 24th, and check out this exciting new addition to the area.
