Savoring Success

The South Lake Chamber of Commerce’s 12th annual Taste of South Lake and Business Expo, presented by AdventHealth and Clermont Lake Dental Care, took place Nov. 2 at Clermont’s Waterfront Park. The sold-out event’s 1,200 guests met with local business vendors, sampled food and drinks from more than 35 restaurants, voted for their favorites and enjoyed live music by Rob Nichols and Mark Houghton. Winners for 2023 were: Clermont Oyster Bar for People’s Choice, Table Top Catering for Best Appetizer, Guru Restaurant for Best Entrée, Sun Creek Brewery for Best Alcoholic Beverage, Amore Restaurant for Best Food and Beverage Booth Presentation, Nothing Bundt Cakes for Best Dessert, Reggae Café for Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage and OCR Roofing for Best Business Booth Presentation.
