The coronavirus pandemic shutdown was a horrible blow for the full-service catering company, Gourmet Today, Inc., but at the same time Jessy Flinn and her husband Kevin fought to keep their Leesburg-based company going. 

“We’re back, we’re stronger, and we’re ready to take the next year on,” says Jessy, who has devoted time to experiment and explore eclectic international foods, recipes from vintage cookbooks, and more gluten-free and vegan options.  

Gourmet Today lives its company motto and tagline: “Rare Service. Well Done.”

“I’m trying to make sure my base for clients and myself is as broad as possible,” says Jessy. “We do a lot of corporate catering and work with a lot of local businesses, professionals, and we do a lot of personal celebrations and showers. I love it all and I love themed events. I love being able to create an entire experience with food, staff, and costumes — that really is my favorite!”
