Lake Office of Emergency Management Hosts New Public Training

Lake County, FL – The Lake County Office of Emergency Management will be hosting Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic training. This training includes team organization, disaster medical operations, and other important emergency skills. Residents interested in becoming involved with CERT must be members of an established organization, such as a Homeowners Association or faith-based organization.

The training will be held on February 13 – 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Lake County Emergency Operations Center (425 W. Alfred Street, Tavares, FL.) Those interested in attending can register for a seat here.
