Lake Office of Emergency Management Hosts New Public Training
Lake County, FL – The Lake County Office of Emergency Management will be hosting Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic training. This training includes team organization, disaster medical operations, and other important emergency skills. Residents interested in becoming involved with CERT must be members of an established organization, such as a Homeowners Association or faith-based organization.
The training will be held on February 13 – 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Lake County Emergency Operations Center (425 W. Alfred Street, Tavares, FL.) Those interested in attending can register for a seat here.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas and produces Style Magazine’s Sports Hub Podcast and Style Podcast. Cindy also serves as a producer for Beacon College’s Telly Award-winning PBS show, “A World of Difference.” When she isn’t working, Cindy enjoys traveling to national parks with her husband, Ryan, and son, David, while photographing wildlife — especially squirrels.
