Construction is underway for the new Silver Lake Commons, located off Highway 441 across from Cracker Barrel. The commercial project will become the future home for many developments such as restaurants, pharmacies, medical offices, coffee shops, day care facilities, houses of worship, fitness centers, gas station, and indoor storage.

Silver Lake Commons will encompass approximately 10 acres. This area is situated north of U.S. Highway 441 and west of College Drive in Leesburg.

Construction is scheduled to proceed in phases, with significant progress expected within the next 12 months.

Retention pond has been there for years! Dog park is across the street, the likelyhood a gator has a chance to get over a fence and into the dog park without its human noticing to catch a dog would be like a sloth trying to catch a butterfly. They are not the fastest trying to climb a fence. Nver go close to any body of water in Florida!
