Leesburg Fire Department Responds to RV Fire at Holiday RV Park

(The aftermath of the fire. Luckily the tree did not catch fire and the damage was limited to the one RV.)
Leesburg Fire Department crews responded to a recreational vehicle fire Monday afternoon at Holiday RV Park in Leesburg, swiftly bringing the blaze under control.
Engine 64 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed a working fire in the RV. Firefighters quickly stretched a handline and began extinguishing the flames. Engine 61 arrived shortly afterward and confirmed that no individuals were trapped inside the vehicle.

(You can see how close the RV was to the trees and other structures surrounding it. Luckily Leesburg Fire Department worked quickly and got the fire under control.)
Engine 62 provided additional manpower at the scene. Battalion 60 and units from Lake County Fire Rescue also responded to assist.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
