Dr. William Zeller, who operated a Family Medicine Practice in Eustis for over 40 years, has donated $20,000 to the four local Eustis schools. Principals Tracy Clark from Eustis High School, Dr. Juanita McCall from Eustis Heights Elementary, Reanna Boardway from Eustis Elementary and Michael Spencer from Eustis Middle accepted their share of the donation on December 3, 2024.  Some of their funding needs included playground/PE equipment, auditorium seating, sound system and weight room equipment. The donation will impact over 5,000 students.

Dr. Zeller has been a champion for education for many years as he endowed the William V. and Mary L. Penny Zeller Scholarship in 2022 to benefit students attending Lake Technical College. To date, three scholarships have been awarded from the fund.
