“Sarah has demonstrated her leadership ability and is a wonderful manager,” Rob says. “She was the author and designer of our signature event, Giving Week, a spin from national Giving Tuesday, that we have hosted for six years now. The trust’s team is excited about her leadership going forward.”
In the last six years, Giving Week has raised and granted out over $3 Million to local charities. This year Giving Week was from December 2 – 8 raising over $455,000.
“I love this community and the people who make it special,” Sarah says. “The Mount Dora Community Trust has a long history of making a positive impact in our community. It is about neighbors helping neighbors and providing equity to those in our community that are underserved. I’m honored to lead this incredible organization into its next chapter.”
Since 1972, the Mount Dora Community Trust has worked to enhance life in Mount Dora through charitable giving, community programs, and scholarships. The organization remains deeply committed to supporting local causes and fostering a spirit of generosity that defines Mount Dora.
