Sabatini, Webster, Cobb & Cunningham Among Lake Primary Winners

Lake County voters have made their choices in today’s primary election, with the following candidates advancing to the November ballot. With a voter turnout of 22.84% and 55,551 ballots cast, the results are in, and the following candidates have emerged victorious:

  • United States Senator (REP)
    • Winner: Rick Scott (85.33%)
    • Ran Against: Keith Gross (9.52%), John S. Columbus (5.15%)

 

  • Representative in Congress, District 6 (REP)
    • Winner: Michael Waltz (82.58%)
    • Ran Against: John Grow (17.42%)

 

  • Representative in Congress, District 11 (REP)
    • Winner: Daniel Webster (77.14%)
    • Ran Against: John McCloy (22.86%)

 

  • State Senator, District 13 (REP)
    • Winner: Keith Truenow (67.50%)
    • Ran Against: Bowen Kou (23.02%), “C J” Blancett (9.48%)

 

  • State Representative, District 26 (REP)
    • Winner: Nan Cobb (34.95%)
    • Ran Against: Addie Owens (26.62%), Mike Levine (24.74%), Keith Farner (13.68%)

 

  • State Representative, District 27 (REP)
    • Winner: Richard Gentry (43.52%)
    • Ran Against: Steve Shives (30.73%), Beckie Sirolli (25.75%)

 

  • Supervisor of Elections (REP)
    • Winner: Alan Hays (67.53%)
    • Ran Against: Tom Vail (32.47%)

 

  • Board of County Commissioners, District 1 (REP)
    • Winner: Anthony Sabatini (47.83%)
    • Ran Against: Douglas Bruce Shields (40.87%), Sam Simmons (11.30%)

 

  • North Lake Hospital District NE, Seat 3 (REP)
    • Winner: Carolyn M. Maimone (58.89%)
    • Ran Against: Ralph Smith (41.11%)

 

  • State Committeeman (REP)
    • Winner: Charles “Chuck” Benoit (39.21%)
    • Ran Against: Ralph D. Smith (33.17%), Jonathan Germeroth (27.62%)

 

  • State Committeewoman (REP)
    • Winner: Barbara Price (51.78%)
    • Ran Against: Kathy Carlson (32.11%), June C. Lang (16.11%)

 

  • Precinct Committeemen Precinct 425 (REP)
    • Winner: Ken McCard (42.25%)
    • Ran Against: Brett J. Back (37.21%), Geoffrey S. Chernault (20.54%)

 

  • Precinct Committeewoman Precinct 383 (REP)
    • Winner: Monica L. Wofford (67.47%)
    • Ran Against: Marie A. Dubois (32.53%)

 

  • Precinct Committeewomen Precinct 388 (REP)
    • Winners: Patricia Blaschka (37.97%), Cassandra Woolley (37.74%)
    • Ran Against: Mary Clare Zedler (24.29%)

 

  • United States Senator (DEM)
    • Winner: Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (72.98%)
    • Ran Against: Stanley Campbell (15.43%), Brian Rush (6.88%), Rod Joseph (4.70%)

 

The following races have been decided. The winners are:

  • Circuit Judge, 5th Circuit, Group 7 (NON)
    • Winner: Erin Daly (71.14%)
    • Ran Against: Derek Saltsman (28.86%)

 

  • Circuit Judge, 5th Circuit, Group 13 (NON)
    • Winner: Heidi Davis (65.36%)
    • Ran Against: Zach McCormick (34.64%)

 

  • Circuit Judge, 5th Circuit, Group 20 (NON)
    • Winner: Ben Boylston (55.77%)
    • Ran Against: Barbara Kissner Kwatkosky (44.23%)

 

  • County Court Judge, Group 4 (NON)
    • Winner: Chad J. Monty (61.00%)
    • Ran Against: Francheska Sabatini (39.00%)

 

  • School Board, District 4 (NON)
    • Winner: Mollie R. Cunningham (57.32%)
    • Ran Against: Gavin Rollins (42.68%)
