Eustis High Softball Alumni D’Yani McKinley Commits To Prairie View A&M University
EUSTIS, FL – D’Yani McKinley, a standout softball player from Eustis High School, has officially committed to Prairie View A&M University. Known for her impressive offensive skills and speed on the bases, McKinley was always a standout athlete when she took to the field with Eustis.
As a senior, McKinley posted remarkable statistics, hitting .407 with 19 stolen bases, a performance that earned her Offensive Player of the Year honors. Her exceptional skills were not only evident in her final year but throughout her high school career. As a junior, she played a crucial role in leading the Eustis High Panthers to a State Championship.
McKinley had a very good freshman year at Florida Southwestern State where she is transfering from. She posted a .402 average with 14 RBI’s and 37 runs scored along with 19 stolen bases.
McKinley follows in the footsteps of other Eustis High athletes who have reached significant heights in their sports careers. Notably, she prepped at the same high school that produced Florida SouthWestern (FSW) turned NBA star Keon Ellis in recent years.
Born on January 30, 2004, D’Yani McKinley is the daughter of Lebrica Everett. Her family has a strong athletic background, with her cousin Keanu Neal being a Pro Bowl safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons.
Prairie View A&M University is an NCAA Division 1 softball program. They are the largest HBCU in the state of Texas and the third largest HBCU in the United States. PVAMU is a member of the SWAC.
Congratulations to D’Yani McKinley, her family, coaches and friends!
