Eustis Teen Delivers 233 Toys to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital

Teddy’s Giant Heart Project has done it again! The 5th annual Christmas Toy Drive, led by 16-year-old Teddy Pentz, had a goal to bring holiday joy to children spending Christmas away from home by collecting 200 toys to be given away. Last week, Teddy and his mom, Krista Kinkade Pentz, stuffed an SUV with 233 donated toys and delivered them to the Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando.

“The thought of children spending Christmas away from their tree breaks Teddy’s heart, and we’re so grateful for the generosity of everyone who has joined us in making a difference,” Krista says.
What began in April 2020 as a way for Teddy to give back using his own birthday money has grown into a community project. From donating food to first responders in its first year to launching a toy drive for children at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital, Teddy’s Giant Heart Project continues to spread kindness and hope during the holiday season.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated toys, shared the story, and helped make the event a success.
