Marshalls, Culver’s & Zaxby’s Among New Businesses Coming to Leesburg

The City of Leesburg will soon be home to new commercial development, with Marshalls, Culver’s and Zaxby’s along with several new businesses planning to establish a presence in the area. Recent permit applications indicate that the retail and dining landscape in Leesburg is set to expand, bringing new options.
“We are excited to see the continued growth of new restaurants and shops here in Leesburg,” Leesburg Mayor Alan Reisman says. “These businesses bring fresh energy, create jobs, and enhance the vibrancy of our community. As Leesburg continues to thrive, we look forward to many prosperous years ahead, ensuring that our city remains a great place to live, work, and visit.”
A permit application for Marshalls has been submitted for a new commercial shell building at 919 N 14th St., near the soon-to-be-closed Big Lots. Marshalls, a well-known national off-price department store, is expected to provide shoppers with a broad selection of brand-name clothing, home goods, and accessories at discounted prices.
Additionally, plans are in motion for the Silver Lake Commons development, located along US 441 across from the airport. Early discussions indicate that the project will include four commercial buildings, featuring a Culver’s Restaurant, Zaxby’s, Circle K, and a storage warehouse positioned at the rear of the property. While the project is still in the planning and permitting stages, the proposed businesses would add new dining and convenience options to the area.
Another permit has also been submitted for Wooden Cork LLC, which plans to construct a 21,250-square-foot pre-engineered metal building at 3384 W. Main St. With over 40 years of experience in sourcing and supplying the world’s most coveted liquors, Wooden Cork has built a reputation for offering an exceptional selection of bourbon, whiskey, tequila, vodka, gin, rum, and fine wines, according to the company’s website.
As plans move forward, we will provide more details on these projects, including projected timelines and additional business announcements.
