Looking for a real-life adventure before the kids head back to school?

Amelia Island in northeast Florida, is encouraging fans to visit August 5 – 7 for a family friendly “PokéBreak.”

Visitors can start their PokéBreak weekend on Friday with Sounds on Centre, an outdoor evening performance in downtown Fernandina Beach on the island; a Ghost Tour of Amelia Island, leading guests in the footsteps of the island’s haunted past; or one of several performances at the Amelia Musical Playhouse. Other weekend events include the Shrimping Eco Tour with Amelia River Cruises, horseback riding on Amelia Island State Park with Kelly Seahorse Ranch, or kayaking and Segway tours with Nature Center Tours.
