South Sumter’s Tyrese Keiler Invited To All American Showcase
Tyrese Keiler has been invited to the All-American Showcase in Houston, Texas May 24th – 26th of 2024. This is a huge opportunity for the South Sumter athlete to showcase his skills at one of the biggest showcases of talent in the United States.
Keiler had an impressive year as did the entire South Sumter Football team nearly shocking Cocoa in the Regional Final matchup.
Keiler the 6”1 175lb Junior rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and had 21 total offensive touchdowns this year. Keiler is such a versatile player. He can play running back but also quarterback at times. He is quick and his 6’1 frame allows him to demolish his way through opponents.
Keiler averaged 7.4 yards per carry. He had a team leading five games over 100+ running yards. He also attempted 56 passes completing 31 of them. This kid is an athlete and South Sumter has done a great job of getting the most out of him.
Coach Ty Lawrence and his group have continued the legacy of “Tradition Never Graduates” that resonates within the community and with the players at South Sumter. In the past 25 years South Sumter Football is 220 – 79. Those are some amazing numbers.
No matter who the coaches, players or staff have been throughout the years, one thing is certain and that is The Raiders have and will continue to have a dominant program.
Congratulations to Tyrese Keiler on this big opportunity to showcase his skills on one of high school’s biggest showcases!
